Want to get involved? 

Being part of the School Community Council (SCC) is a great way to get involved, have your voice heard, and help represent the community in decisions that impact the Longview student body. The SCC is responsible, in coordination with school administration, for annually creating the School LANDTrust Plan.  SCC members help determine how School LANDTrust funds distributed to the school each year are spent.  Elections for SCC members occur in the fall at the beginning of each school year.  However, all are welcome to participate in meetings, even if you do not hold a seat on the council.  If you are interested in being elected to the School Community Council, contact Dr. Torilyn Gillett.

Meetings for the 2024-2025 school year will be held the second Monday of each month, at 3:30 PM. in the Longview media center. (For a list of meeting dates, please see below.) Meetings are open to the public.

Below are the final reports on our school land trust plans and budgets for the previous two school years:

School LAND Trust funds change from year to year based on student enrollment, increases in those funds, etc. Below is a list of the past several years’ LANDTrust Funds distribution to Longview Elementary.
